AWE failing to consult over redundancies - urgent action needed

Management at the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) have announced a reorganisation and redundancy programme, which could lead to up to 800 workers losing their jobs. The manner in which this programme has been announced is completely intolerable, and trade union Prospect is calling for fairness, care and respect for AWE employees.

 

We strongly encourage you to write to your MP to urge them to meet with Prospect representatives at AWE to hear first first-hand how AWE management is behaving and to help in resolving the mounting concerns of Prospect and AWE employees.
