Email your MP about unfair Plan 2 student loan repayment terms

In the last Autumn Budget, the then Chancellor announced that the repayment threshold for Plan 2 Student Loans would be frozen for three years.

But analysis from the Institute for Fiscal Studies shows that this measure will cost the lowest earning graduates more.

Not only does this change cost lower earners more than higher earnes - it also unfairly changes the terms of Plan 2 loans after they have been entered into.

Prospect trade union is encouraging our members to write to their MPs to put pressure on the Government to reverse last year's unfair, regressive decision.
