Email Your MP to help us oppose the public sector pay freeze

The government’s decision to freeze the pay of all public sector workers outside the NHS is something that Prospect and other unions have strongly opposed.

Not only is this pay freeze an insult after the heroic work public servants have done in recent months, whether on the pandemic or Brexit or a variety of other issues, but it will only serve to deepen the problems that were created by the damaging pay freeze imposed from 2010 onwards.

As part of our campaign against this policy, we are asking you to write to your MP expressing your opposition to the pay freeze and explaining how it is affecting you and your colleagues.
