It's time to invest in our heritage sector

Earlier this year Prospect launched “Heritage: cold climate to ice age”, a report highlighting the concerns of members over a decade of funding cuts to the sector and the new uncertainty created by Brexit. 

The launch of the campaign in Edinburgh was addressed by Claire Baker MSP, the Labour Party lead on culture at Holyrood. Subsequently, Claire submitted a motion to the Scottish Parliament calling for support for Prospect’s campaign.

For the campaign to continue to gain support, the motion needs to receive recognition from MSPs across the political spectrum. That is why we are asking you to email your MSP to support the motion and invest in our heritage sector.
