Budget 2017 – tell your MP it is time to scrap the cap

On 22 November the Chancellor set out his plans in the Budget – but there was still no clear indication as to whether the government will end the 1% pay cap in the public sector.

We know that your campaigning work is having an impact – over 3,500 Prospect members have written to their MP about the pay cap. The government is now showing some signs of movement, but we must keep up the pressure.

Can you write to your MP now asking them to call on the Chancellor to scrap the cap for all, and to ensure adequate funding across our public services? Simply enter your postcode below, and you'll be provided with the model email, ready to send to your local MP.
